Hoxton is coming to australia.
Anyone who knows me, is aware that I am a big fan of the Hoxton brand. As one of the true innovators in the lifestyle hotel space, Hoxton, under the vision of Sharan Pasricha has pioneered the concept of the neighborhood hotel.
THE HOXTON, ENNISMORE
My first encounter with the brand was back in 2015 at the Holborn, London hotel and it quickly became clear that this was no ordinary hotel. Jet-lagged and awake through the night, I watched the hotel evolve over a full 12-hour cycle. It wasn’t just about the design—though that was spot on—it was about the people, the programming, and the infectious energy that kept the place buzzing.
The Hoxton wasn’t just a hotel; it was a vibrant social hub, seamlessly blending young freelancers, entrepreneurs, locals, corporates, and travelers into one dynamic space. Each Hoxton I have visited has beautifully brought to life the concept of the hotel lobby serving as the 'living room' to the local community!
THE HOXTON, VIENNA
Since then, I’ve been on a pilgrimage of sorts, visiting Hoxton properties in Portland, L.A., Williamsburg, Shoreditch, (but not Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Chicago amongst others!!!)… & now, with today’s exciting announcement, it seems Cremorne, Melbourne will get its turn. Few hotels in Australia truly hit the mark when it comes to blending a place that “feels right” for both locals & hotel guests. The Hoxton is a brand that breaks down the cultural barriers that have existed for so long in our industry, and I’m excited to see how it will shake things up here in Australia.
